Skiing, snowboarding, sightseeing
Mt Ruapehu and Whakapapa is the highest and largest ski field in New Zealand and its the coolest drive to get there! Its an easy day trip and one that I do regularly midweek. All guests are invited to join me in my BMW x3 for a great day on the trails with transport provided free of charge.
If you want something a bit more substantial then how about:
- 3 days, 3 nights total
- Airport collection as required
- Complimentary wine and dinner on arrival
- Two nights boutique accommodation in Forest Floor
- Transfer to Whakapapa ski field
- Lodge accommodation overnight – to be organsied using local ski clubs who welcome casuals to fill up otherwise empty bunk beds.
- 2 x Adult day passes – to be purchased by guests on actual ski day
Cost
The focus is on your enjoyment. Casual nights for bunk beds in a bunk room at a ski lodge are around $65 including dinner and breakfast and warm lounging areas. Day passes for the mountain are around $119 per adult. Resting Kiwi does not add commissions on these basics for a great days ski. If you want something more private and personal then let me know your budget and I shall organise accordingly.
